Lake Wylie schools offer excellent learning opportunities for both young children and teens. Parents can feel confident that their children will receive instruction that promotes educational growth while teaching life skills as well. Parents can still enjoy raising their families in a small-town atmosphere while relying on Lake Wylie schools to meet the educational needs of their children at the same time.

The Lake Wylie community children attending public schools receive an education that is not only based on basic educational needs but are offered a wide variety of study programs. Children from grades PK - 6 are in elementary classes. Hands on activities are used in the study of science making the learning process fun and interactive. Different media are used by the Lake Wylie schools as part of the instructional process. Art is also available to children in the lower grades. Clover school district has a gifted program for children in grades 3 through 6.

Middle school continues to offer great opportunities for continued growth and education. Health and physical education are attended each year to promote a healthy lifestyle. Middle school helps to prep and prepare children for the developmental changes that occur at a rapid pace between the difficult years of child to teen.

Opportunities abound for students to try new challenges through different courses offered by Lake Wylie schools. Such courses as French, Spanish, Computer sciences and technology courses are just a few that are offered in the high school. The arts in a lot of the school systems today are lost due to cut backs on funding but the school systems here continue to promote and offer opportunities for students to explore areas such as journalism, chorus, band and dance. These and other electives provide experiences that students will never forget. Technology and college prep as well as honors and advance placement courses are offered. There are many clubs and organizations that students can get involved with.

The Lake Wylie school district also includes a number of private schools that are available for those parents who wish this type of learning atmosphere for their children. There are many excellent ones from which to choose around the area. No matter whether it is a public or private school, Lake Wylie schools are very student and parent oriented.

The Lake Wylie community is a great place to live for any family with children. The experiences that children gain from the schools that they attend last a life time. What better way to provide them with great memories than by choosing a good school that both helps them to feel accepted and ensures them a quality education at the same time?
